Cosy, comfortable, private, suitable for our needs. Negative: Directions for entry to the property needed e.g. ‘drive into the parking space to the left of the garage and enter through the back gate.’ We weren’t sure how to get to the front door and had to poke around for a bit.

This property was exceptionally clean including all crockery and cutlery. It had the charm of a heritage building combined with the basic elements to make our stay a pleasant one. One bathroom with toilet within may be a consideration for some. The grounds are lovely with a great bbq entertaining area that would be excellent in the warmer months.

For what we required, the location was perfect and very comfortable. Positive: Liked the quaintness, great beds. Door locking system is great! Negative: House was cold when we arrived, although the fire was set. The heater is very small and not very effective for heating the home. There was only 1 bathmat and 1 hand towel for 4 guests, no face washer provided. We found the address difficult to find, although after checking the emails, figured out that the entrance was from another street. This we found tricky at night.
