Cimicky House - Homestead Oasis

Beautiful, large old house in a great location, but could use more kitchen equipment for cooking. Positive: The pool was fantastic. The living room is comfortable. The location was great -very quiet and 15 min to everything and close to town. We appreciated the late checkout. Negative: The kitchen was not well-equipped for cooking meals. Only half the BBQ worked. The hallway floorboards, where most of the bedrooms are, are extremely squeaky =not great for light sleepers.

Was a great stay! Beautiful house

We booked Cimicky House for a girls weekend and it accommodated the seven of us very easily. The beds were very comfortable and the location was good as the furthest we drove was 20 minutes to surrounding wineries. It was a cold weekend and we found the heating inadequate in the main living areas as the only form of heating is the wood fire. A few more touches here and there would elevate the experience.

This property is ideally located close to many wineries, a pub, and a brewery. It is extremely well equipped, and the pool is very clean and inviting. Our group of 60-70 year old wine lovers found it a convenient and very comfortable base from which to enjoy the Barossa.
